J. R. (Randy) Hammett

Hammett Financial was founded in Ocala in 1973 by J. Randall Hammett, a native of Ocala. Mr. Hammett is an alumnus of the University of Florida. He spent four years with an International CPA Firm before returning to Ocala. Before beginning his accounting career, Mr. Hammett served four years in the U.S. Army Security Agency, posted in Germany. Mr. Hammett enjoys eating and watching sports, especially the Florida Gators. He and his wife, Cynthia (Cindy) L. Hammett, have three grown children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Most of their spare time is spent with family, especially during the holidays.

Mrs. Hammett was born in Ohio but moved to Florida when she was three. She has been part of the Business seemingly forever; she has been working hand in hand, running the offices, greeting clients, setting up appointments, and numerous other much-needed jobs. In her spare time, Cindy enjoys spending time with the grandkids, accomplishing little projects, and playing Mahjong with her friends.
Denise Hogan
(Daughter, Bookkeeper, and Accountant)
Mrs. Hogan has been with the company for over 25 years. She handles accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and personal income taxes. She is directly responsible for four grandkids and two great-grandkids.
